Back to topThis is a tracking tool to find customers based on a specific product purchased. Using this unique extension we can create a batch code for all products. It also helps in creating multiple batch codes for each product. All batch codes are listed during shipment, which then we can select the batch code for each product in the order process and shipment creation.
After the shipment, batch code(s) will be shown in the order-view section and shipment-view section. Also, we can search all customers and guests who have purchased products with a given batch code. This module searches all orders for which a particular batch code is used.
It is relatively simple to follow this tool. When we open the extension page we have an option to create a new batch code and add products to this batch. Also, we have a list of all the batch codes for easy searching and filtering. Since it is Magento-2.0 based, UI is very simple. Using this, the end-user can manage product batches with ease. Wondering it what all scenarios this is best suited? Certain use cases are: When we have the same product with different sellers when we have the same product with different variants when we have a large number of products to manage with a unique code etc.
For the end-user, it is all about an effective and easy way of handling and tracking the products. Also as a follow-up process, searching and reporting of products/orders will be an easy task with just a batch code in your hand.
