A return merchandise authorization (RMA) is the process of returning purchased items to a vendor in order to get a refund, replacement, or repair during the item's warranty period. The RMA extension is developed to help store administrators effectively deal with all stages of the returns in Magento 2 and let customers send an RMA request just in a few clicks.

The module consists of 2 parts: an easy return process for customers and automated RMA management for store admins. Flexible settings let admin users specify resolution periods for each product, create multiple return reasons, item conditions, and resolutions.  Due to a handy RMA grid, store owners can effectively manage all requests from the admin panel.  Apart from that, the extension enables guest visitors to send RMA requests without getting registered which makes the whole RMA process fast and easy.

Make RMA Easy For Customers

The Magento 2 RMA extension is designed to help store owners to build loyalty and save unsatisfied customers with unique after-sale support. Thus, shoppers can submit return requests right in their accounts and track status changes in one place. Each step of return processing is equipped with an understandable progress bar and detailed instructions for customers. 


Simplify Communication With Live Chat

During the RMA processing, customers usually have lots of questions and details to figure out. The extension includes a built-in live chat so that shoppers could easily contact admins and provide extra details without sending tons of emails. Store admin, in his turn, sees the chat in the admin panel and can use it to get extra details from users.


Collect Customer Feedback

Let users rate your return process. When a return request is complete, the extension collects feedback and provides a form for leaving comments. Thus,  you can gather ratings and analyze RMA efficiency for further improvements.


Provide Detailed Return Info

To avoid misunderstanding, the extension can adds return details to each product page and a shopping cart. Display repair, return and exchange periods to the 'More Information' tab on product pages. When the return period expires, a customer will see the appropriate message on the account order page. Moreover, you can provide supportive contacts in this message. 


Effectively Operate Each Request

RMA module for Magento 2 has several grids to make returns management easier. Thus, a new request is displayed in the 'Manage Requests' grid. All the actions are available on the 'View Request' page: check details, change statuses, provide resolutions, and communicate with a customer via chat in one place. When an admin processes the request and needs actions from a customer side, the request moves to the 'Customers' Pending Requests' grid. If the request is completed, it moves to the 'Archived Requests' grid. Thus, you can keep your grid for management up to date. Also, when a new request is created, you will see the notification on your admin panel. 


Create Various Return Reasons

To automate returns management for Magento 2 products, you can build your return reasons system. Add as many reasons as you need, specify who is supposed to cover shipping costs in each case, and show them to customers in the returned dropdown. 


Add Item Conditions

According to your return policy, you can create suitable item conditions, such as opened, unopened, damaged, etc. Shoppers will also be able to choose one of them during request creation. 


Adjust Return Resolution

There can be various solutions to Magento 2 returns: exchange, return, repair, return to store credits, and so on. Create as many resolutions as you can offer and simplify management for both sides.


Configure Multiple Statuses

Additionally, you can create extra statuses for request processing, e.g. 'Approved by Admin', 'Shipped by Customer', 'Received by Admin', and so on. Thanks to these statuses, you can significantly speed up request processing and make the whole workflow understandable for shoppers.


NEW: Export RMA Data

Now you can export any RMA requests data you need without coding using the simple UI. Configure export fields, filter requests by any parameter, specify file format and output options.

Also, RMA is fully compatible with the Export Orders solution: export orders with RMA requests directly to 3rd-party systems, manually or automatically.
