Overview

It is important to allow buyers a way to easily pre-order or backorder goods that are unavailable for immediate delivery. Every merchant wants to predict the customer's needs and demands in order to keep their webshop running successfully. Now you can achieve two goals at once by showing that you care about the clients and gather valuable data on customer preferences, desires, and welfare.

Pre Order by Amasty allows your customer to pre-order any type of product. This gives you priceless information about the trending and must-have items for your store. You can easily collect information as well as manage it on a handy grid with filters. There is also a possibility to make sticky messages for customers, which give them a full understanding of the product status.

Features

  • Clearly indicates products available for pre-order
  • Present pre-order notes as a unique custom stock status
  • Pre-order a configurable product with certain options
  • Label pre-orders on the shopping cart page
  • Allow customers to track backorders in the customer account

NOTE! Customers are charged only once per purchase. Magento 2 stores demand payments when a backorder or a pre-order is placed. This extension doesn’t change this functionality.

Pre-Order Configurable, Grouped & Bundled

Allow customers to pre-order configurable, grouped and bundle products. Notice that only out of stock configuration will be marked as pre-order; all the other product combinations can be sold normally. If one of the items in a bundle or a group is currently available only for pre-order, the customer will see the corresponding notification.

Find Pre-Orders On Grid With Filter

Pre Order column added to the Order grid allows rapid sorting and editing your store pre-orders. This option can dramatically increase the productivity of all admin users. They won’t need to look through the whole list of placed orders to find out which items have been pre-ordered.

Easily Identify Items Ordered In Advance

A note that an item was pre-ordered is highlighted on the order information page. It ensures the store admins will always be aware of the current order status.

Use Custom Text On Buttons

Usability is a vital parameter of success for web stores; the interface should be intuitive and informative at the same time. Equip your Magento 2 store with custom pre-order or backorder buttons instead of a regular add to cart button. Thus you will clearly indicate that certain products are unavailable for immediate delivery but can be purchased in advance. Pre-order buttons are displayed both on category and product pages.

Specify Pre-Order Notes & Warning Messages

Stick a pre-order warning to the products that are not in stock at the moment. The notes will be displayed on product pages and pinned to the order information in the Orders tab of a customer account. You can use variables like {sku} or {delivery_date} to make notes more informative.

Extension Benefits

Manage products and stock with ease, allow customers to book products they need even when they are not available at the moment of purchase.
