A complex  GDPR legislative pack for Magento 2 is designed to help stores comply with the latest requirements and protect both store owners and customers. With the module, vendors can gather and process customers' consents in a transparent way to avoid penalties for inappropriate data processing. Collect customers' cookie consents, create and manage privacy policy.

Take under control the list of users without privacy policy consents and send email requests. View all actions, taken by your customers that are related to the privacy policy and account management and make sure your business is fully compliant with GDPR requirements.

Key Features:

  • Collect various users consents on multiple pages
  • Get cookie consents with a handy popup
  • Provide customers with personal data management options
  • Automatically remove out-of-date data
  • Save the necessary data in recent documentation
  • Track all privacy consents in one grid

Cover EU Cookie Law Requirements

The GDPR extension includes an advanced tool to comply with Cookie Law requirements. Using the features, you can:

  • collect users' cookie consents  in a popup, in which shoppers can allow or disallow particular cookie groups by clicking toggles;
  • add a separate cookie CMS page, where customers can easily find out for what purposes their cookies are used;
  • view and manage all given cookie consents in a separate grid.

Collect Privacy Consents With Checkboxes

Due to extended settings, the store owners can add multiple required and non-required privacy checkboxes to various pages. Moreover, it is possible to limit each checkbox display according to customer geolocation. Customers can give their consent with the privacy policy on:

  • the registration page;
  • the checkout page;
  • contact us page;
  • newsletter subscription form.

Show Respect To Users' Rights

The extension is built to protect not only admins but also customers. Show your visitors that you respect their rights and make your store trustworthy by covering:

  • Right to be informed: show privacy policy text in a popup, let users check it in a customer account, and provide a separate CMS page to make them completely aware.
  • Right to get access: shoppers can easily download all data collected about them in a customer account.
  • Right to be forgotten: with the extension, the customer may anonymize his/her personal data.
  • Right to erasure: Users may delete their accounts and all concerning data in one click.
  • Right to data portability: a customer may ask a vendor to transport personal data to another instance, and an admin has all opportunity to do it in a split second.

Extended Customer Account

EU's GDPR requires e-commerce websites to provide customers with a set of tools to control their personal data. With the extension, you can add an extra section to the customers' accounts that allows users to:

  • Download all personal information provided to your store;
  • Anonymize the account information to make it completely unreadable;
  • Leave a request to delete the account.

From the backend, the admin users can deal with the incoming requests to delete users' accounts. One can approve or deny a request and send the notification email.

Privacy Policy Docs Management

The GDPR extension for Magento 2 allows you to create and manage the privacy policy documentation. On top of that, the module enables store admins to set the policy version and enable or disable each of them. All registered customers are divided into two grids: with and without consent with any of the existing privacy policies. From both grids, the admin user can send email requests to agree to the policy or to give consent to the updated one. There's also a separate grid for cookie consents, where store admin can even check which cookie groups a customer has allowed to process.

Automatically Remove Personal Data

According to the law, a merchant has no right to keep data of inactive users. With the extension, you may configure auto-deletion after a particular period.  All automatically deleted accounts will be moved to the 'Delete Requests' grid.
