Limit use of payment methods by country, state, groups, store view, customer and product attributes. Apply restrictions based on the order information.
OverviewBack to top
This module will let you adjust your pricing policy to your business needs. With its help, you will be able to restrict payment methods by country, zip code, order value, customer group and other different attributes and their combination. Restriction rules created by this extension can be applied to all products in the store, to only those that are currently in stock or to backorders. Moreover, payment restrictions can be enabled in the backend too, thus the rules will definitely be applied to the orders created from the backend.
If you choose to use payment restriction based on order total, you can decide whether taxes and discount should be included in the total order amount.
- Create payment restrictions rules on a store-view or website level
- Apply restrictions to back-order items
- Use ‘starts from’ or ‘ends with’ conditions to save time (e.g. for restrictions by zip codes)
- Restrict payment methods on certain days of the week
- Use cart attributes, purchase history, product and customer attributes, order information and other parameters to set payment restrictions rules
Based on Cart Attributes & Purchase History
The extension makes it possible to apply limitations of payment methods based on such information as products quantity, their weight and order subtotal. What is more, there is an option to set payment restrictions based on a customer’s order history: total sales amount and the number of completed orders in your store.
Based on Product Attributes
You can control your revenue by setting up payment restrictions for particular products by their attributes. For example, you can disable PayPal option for items in a particular category, by some manufacture or with a certain price.
Based on Shipping Information
The module will let you use parameters like shipping method, zip code, city, state or province, country and even particular text in the address field to limit payment options. For example, you can disable a ‘cash on delivery’ method for distant provinces where this type is not available. There is also an ability to combine countries and create custom areas so that a payment restriction rule can be applied to all the added countries at once.
Based on Customer Attributes
While creating a payment rule, you can use different attributes like registration date, date of birth, gender, name, etc.
Based on Order Information
With this extension you will be able to block payment methods by a particular order status, the number of days after an order is placed, average order value, etc.
Choose Products to Apply Rules
Each payment restriction rule can be applied to the following types of items in your store:
- All products
- Only backorders
- Products that are currently in stock
Apply by Customer Group
This is very handy if you have special groups, like wholesale clients, and want to provide them with a unique payment option which will be disabled for other customer groups. Another example is blocking a ‘cash on delivery’ method for new clients.
Apply on Frontend & Backend
If your store managers create orders from the backend, it is important for them to keep up with the pricing strategy of your store. By enabling payment limitations rules on the backend in addition to the frontend, you can rest assured that nobody will forget to suppress certain payment gateways for some orders or customers.
The module provides an option to enable or disable a payment restriction rule when discount rules or coupons are applied.
Include/Exclude Taxes & Discounts From Subtotal
If you create payment restriction rules based on subtotal, you can choose whether taxes and discounts should be included in the subtotal.
