Follow Up Email from Amasty lets you set up an impressive list of marketing emails triggered by customer activity or inactivity.
OverviewBack to top
One of the most efficient ways to increase sales productivity is to continue selling to existing customers via follow-up emails. With the extension, you can create an unlimited number of rules to send follow-up emails to particular customers for encouraging certain activities. It's possible to choose the triggering event:
When an order is created, shipped, invoiced, completed, or canceled
When a customer is inactive for a definite time period, or a customer has changed the group, subscribed to the newsletter, had a birthday, or registered
When a product was added to the wishlist, a wishlist was shared, a product from the wishlist is on sale, or a product from a wishlist is back in stock
When a specific date comes
For each of the triggers, there is a list of canceling events to choose from. They can be used to make sure your customers receive only relevant emails. For example, if the customer hasn't returned to your store for 28 days, and on the 29th day he or she came back and placed an order, the 30 days inactivity winback email won’t be sent if you chose the appropriate cancel event.
Additional email dispatch options
More settings are available to make the follow-up emails more targeted:
Choose if to send the emails to those who didn’t subscribe to your newsletter
Select the needed customer groups
Select the stores
Specify sender details
Set the schedule of sending. It is possible to send the email several times
For order related follow-ups, there’s an additional condition tab
Use Google Analytics tracking for your campaigns
Endorse recipients with coupons
Many types of follow up emails, such as winback emails or birthday emails, require a discount coupon provided for the customer. The extension allows you to do that. Choose the type of the discount, discount amount, or use a shopping cart rule to deliver a coupon in the particular email.
Testing before actual delivery
Use two options to test your emails before running a campaign. First of all, there’s a test dispatch button for each type of email. Secondly, there’s a general safe mode available, in which no emails are sent to real customers.
Full control over campaigns
To have full control over your follow-up campaigns, use the separate log of emails, where you can see the list of emails with coupons and cancellations reasons. There’s a possibility to export the whole log into a CSV file.
Specify if you want the coupon to be valid only for the email recipient
Automatic email log cleanup is available
Import the list of blacklist emails whose owners shouldn’t receive any emails at all times
Advanced Customer Segments functionality included
As a bonus, the second extension will be installed along with Follow Up Emails to extend targeting opportunities even more. The additional Advanced Customer Segments module adds customer segmentation functionality to the rule configuration so that you can create your own customer segments and use them when configuring your follow-up emails campaign audiences.
