With the Delivery Date for Magento 2 extension, store administrators can add a delivery date block to the checkout, thus enabling shoppers to select days and time intervals for delivery. Flexible module settings let you specify available delivery days and time periods as well as exclude any specific dates and hours from your delivery schedule. It's also possible to set minimal and maximal delivery intervals for all store items as well as for specific products. Apart from that, the module lets visitors write delivery messages with any additional information and enables admin users to send special reminders to inform customers about the upcoming delivery.

Why should you implement the module? Let's turn to the stats: 43% of retailers found that offering better shipping choice created more revenue. Adding the possibility to choose the delivery date and time will increase the level of customers service in your store. And thus, provide customers with better choice and improve their shopping experience.

  • Provide customers with the possibility to choose the delivery date and time
  • Manage delivery data display settings
  • Let customers leave delivery comments
  • Exclude concrete days from the delivery
  • Specify delivery intervals

Allow buyers to select days and time of delivery

Let your customers choose the most appropriate delivery dates and time periods.

Enable customers to write delivery comments

Due to the extension, store visitors can leave a message with any comments or remarks regarding the order.

Exclude any dates from your delivery plan

Keep your customers informed about your non-working days, for example, on holidays or weekends, by blocking them on your delivery calendar. Remove from your timetable:

  • Any dates, e.g. national holidays;
  • Date intervals (like December 24 – January 7);
  • Time intervals (like 10 a.m. -11 a.m);
  • Some exact working days as exceptions.

Set minimum and maximum delivery intervals

On the backend, you can define a minimum and maximum delivery intervals. It allows you, for example, to include a day or two to your minimal delivery time and be absolutely sure that a customer will get the order on time.

Enable same-day or next-day delivery

Indicate by which time an order should be placed for same-day and next-day delivery options.

Offer a range of time intervals for the delivery

Prevent shoppers from waiting for their purchases all day long by setting delivery time intervals manually or automatically. Also, you can vary them for different store views.

Manage delivery time slots

Set a custom interval offset for the same-day delivery. The offset will be equal to the time period from the current moment to the first delivery selected by a customer.

Minimum Delivery Interval by Product

For products that require more time for delivery, you can set a minimum delivery interval regardless of general settings.

Remind clients about the delivery

Inform your customers about the upcoming delivery: specify a particular time (in hours) before purchase arrival and choose an e-mail template for the occasion.

Flexible admin options:

  • Ability to specify how and where delivery data will be displayed on the frontend
  • Ability to specify delivery quota per day
  • Ability to change date and time format
  • Ability to provide delivery comments which satisfy customer's requirements
