Back to topCustomer Note for Magento 2 allows the admin or other admin users to add internal notes for any customer. These notes are available on the order view page and customer view page in the admin.
The extension also allows admin users to add specific notes for any customer, such as "Ship all orders with FedEx" or "Send paper invoice". The admin users can add, edit, and delete notes from the customer view page and order view in the admin. If admin enables model popup from the configuration, then a popup with the Customer Note will appear each time the admin users open an order. It displays all internal notes for the customer who placed an order on the order view page, so the admin user will make order processing accordingly.

- Admin able to disable Customer Note from Admin -> Store -> Configuration -> Customer note -> General -> Select "No" from Enable module dropdown.
- Now user able to add order specific comment for guest customer so if there is order placed by a guest user comment will be available for that specific order.
- Added sorting option for displaying comment on each area now user able to select ascending and descending for displaying comments for each area e.g. Order Grid Popup, Order View Page, Order View Popup, Customer Grid Popup, Customer View Page.
How Does Customer Note Work?
Admin users need to add notes for customers on the customer view page or order view page in the admin. Whenever a customer places an order when the admin has already added a Customer Note for that customer, the customer note will appear in a popup so that the admin will be able to process the order accordingly. Admins are able to edit existing notes from the customer view page, order view page, or Customer Note grid from the admin.
