Overview
Back to topCheckout Fields Manager allows users to add custom fields to the Checkout page. Now you can add an unlimited number of new fields to your Checkout page, set them required or optional, and define any field type you like. With this new feature Magento admins will be able to ask customers important questions, create polls, inquire about delivery details, or even customize the Checkout view with banners, videos, or links using basic HTML/CSS code.
Checkout Fields Manager can combine your Cart and Checkout page into one. The new feature will be extremely useful for Magento B2C stores that want to boost conversion rates by gently prompting the customer to proceed to Checkout faster.Combining the Cart and the Checkout views won’t impact website functionality. Customers can still change order details right on the Checkout: add or remove products, change quantity, or go back to the shopping list for more products.
Features:
-
Send customers directly to Checkout bypassing Cart View
-
Edit product details on the Checkout page directly
-
Create custom fields on Checkout
-
Make fields of any type (all field types are supported)
-
Determine whether you’d like to make fields required or optional
-
See in table view how specific users fill in custom Checkout fields
-
Collect marketing insights by asking your customers any question you like
How Checkout Fields Manager can benefit Magento store owners:
-
Shorten customer journey by combining Cart View and Checkout into a single page
-
Get marketing insights by asking your customers questions on the Checkout page
-
Collect backup contact info for delivery purposes – in case you need to clear some details with the customer before shipping
-
Insert custom HTML and CSS-friendly fields to display banners, videos, text and other elements on your Checkout page
Add Any Field to Your Checkout
Default Magento stores lack the functionality to add new custom fields to Checkout. But the Checkout page is one of the most important in your whole store. This is where the customer is most engaged and interested in your product.
At Checkout you have a unique chance to ask them:
-
Delivery related questions
-
Where they’ve heard about your product
-
Ask any number of required questions
-
Or provide a small field for a short user feedback
Offer Your Customers to Choose a Delivery Date
Customizing your delivery details can be a complete game changer for areas where delivery is tricky or even dangerous. Offer your customers to provide:
-
Specific details about the delivery location
-
Desired time of day
-
Preferred contact info
-
Other custom info they want to share
Get Marketing Insights on a Budget
Offer your marketing team a powerful tool to communicate and receive constant feedback from your customers:
-
Collect reliable data about their shopping experiences, questions, and needs
-
Connect with your audience when they are 100% engaged with your website
-
Receive and analyze marketing insights within the Admin Panel
Increase Conversion Rates by Removing 1 Step From Checkout
Long checkout process is a major show stopper for some customers. They might like the product and the experience of shopping. But filling in long forms can look too much like work to close the deal.
Conquer the hearts of your most impulsive shoppers by removing one step from their checkout.
-
Skip the cart view and go directly to checkout
-
Adjust product quantities at checkout page
-
Get more customers to Checkout
-
Remove the physiological barrier of hitting Checkout
Improve Your Checkout Page Further
Add an HTML field to your Checkout page to change the feel of your customer’s shopping experience. Add static or iframe-supported elements, HTML5:
-
-
Review site scores and badges
-
Colorful customized banners
-
Pictures and links
-
Video content (YouTube, etc.)
-
Announcements and promotional messages
-
