With the geo-targeting option, you can automatically change your website language depending on the shoppers’ country. The feature comes in handy if you want to make your website surfing smooth and more enjoyable for the visitors.
What’s more, most folks don’t want to pay in different currencies. It makes the process messy and quite often prices are higher than your local currency. This is where currency switching makes the difference. Automatically show and accept payment in the local currency to increase sales and customer trust.
Feature Summary
Store Switching
Store and Currency Switcher for Magento 2 utilizes the MaxMind technology. The extension quickly and precisely identifies the real-time visitors’ location, and auto-redirect them to the right Store View. You can instantly identify a visitor’s IP addresses and automatically switch the store language according to the detected location. Moreover, in order to prevent fraudulent orders, you can check their geo origin and disable auto-switching for certain ULRs or locations (by an IP address or User Agent)
Currency Switching
The extension lets you set Country-Currency relations to automatically switch currencies according to the visitors’ locations. On top of that, you can prevent any unwanted Store Views auto-switching.
- Lock auto-switching functionality for certain User Agents
- Disable auto-switching for the chosen site URLs.
Store & Currency Switcher General Settings
Store and Currency Auto Switcher for Magento 2 is fitted with a bunch of settings that let you further optimize the process of store/country switching and adjust it for your personal needs.
- Set Auto Switcher scope to ‘website’ or ‘global’
- Display customer location right in the Order View
- Show customer location in the Online Customers Grid tab
- Update the Geo-IP database (for any country and city) right in the backend
